What is the Technology behind
L230/L130 Access Terminal ?

L230/L130 Access Terminal is Ultra Thin Client Product (UTMA) which actually acts as a I/O Box (Input/Output) between the Main Computer & Keyboard ,Mouse, Monitor on Terminal Side.

Because today's  PC are very powerful but  under utilized (today's Pentium 4 is faster than a supercomputer in 15 years ago) each UTMA-ready device  is programmed to access the host PC's excess computing power

All the processing of the attached clients (L230/L130 Access Terminal) is being done on the Main Computer & the Access

Terminal  transfers the Mouse Click & Keyboard Instructions to the Main Computer on TCP/IP . The Main Computer in turns send the refreshes screen at very fast rate back to Office Station Terminal which is in turn displayed on the attached Monitor . With the help of Proprietary Hardware & Terminal Server Software each user gets short defined (Nanoseconds) time and therefore action is so fast that user actually feels that he is working on separate CPU.

Actually speaking it is not required to have a separate PC for the day to day tasks like Word Processing, Internet Browsing etc. in Organizations which eventually leads to Waste of Resources, Energy & Money in terms of Maintenance etc.
